Street Photography – Olympus OM-D EM-5; 26

Another instalment of my street photography series, as with the previous post these are take around Berlin on my Olympus OM-D EM-% and either 17mm M.Zuiko or 25mm Panasonic Leica DG Summilux lenses.

P1010100.jpg ISO 200, F4, 1/800th Sec. That’s some kind of steel drum on his lap, sounded amazing.

P1010101.jpg ISO 200, F4, 1/200th Sec. I think this was some sort of cartoony version of the Bear that appears on the flag of Berlin, he looked so ridiculously pleased with himself I had to take a photograph of it.

P1010103.jpg ISO 200, F4, 1/160th Sec. This was a pretty big demonstration against nuclear power taking place, they were marching down Friedrich Strasse and I assume were going to meet up with the rest of the protest down at the Brandenburg Gate. I love the look on the guy’s face holding the camera and his whole stance.

P1010105.jpg ISO 200, F4, 1/320th Sec. Guys dressed up as American soldiers at where Checkpoint Charlie once stood, the one of them is convincing a elderly lady to come and get in the photo with them.

P1010108.jpg ISO 200, F4, 1/250th Sec. This building seemed like a cross between a museum and a sale showroom for the VW group as it was full of car’s of varying brand’s but all brands owned by Volkswagen. Like this beautiful Porsche 550 Spyder, I couldn’t walk past with out stopping to snap this.

  1. The steel drum is called a ‘Hang’… have a look on You Tube… (if you’re musically interested, that is 😉 )
