Welcome back to my (relatively) long running street photography series, this being edition 28. As usual all these images are taken on my Olympus OM-D EM-5 (hence the title) and either 17mm Olympus M.Zuiko or 25mm Panasonic Leica Summilux lenses. Let me know your thoughts as feedback is, as always, appreciated.
ISO 800, F4, 1/320th Sec. There’s a lot of building work going on not too far from my office, it makes for a temporary alleyway where this guy was just hanging out, I liked the square panels and the triangles framing him to the right hand side of the image.
ISO 400, f3.5, 1/3200th Sec. Loved the light and shadow here although the main reason I took the image was the ridiculous, and very childish imagination from my self I know, placement of a huge sausage next to a sign that say’s “Ladies”.
ISO 200, F4, 1/500th Sec. This guy was lining up these life jackets each with a radio and I liked the repetition of them placed across the gateway.
ISO 400, f3.5, 1/320th Sec. One of my favourite’s from this entry, the mailman had just gone into the shop on the right of this shot and left his trolley of parcels outside. Yet again this is taken in one of my favourite places for shooting street photography, it’s images like this that make me love the place so much.
ISO 400, f4, 1/30th Sec. The indoor market is a great place for people watching and finding interesting people to photograph, I like this image again because of the repetition in the lights leading you to the woman in the centre at the greengrocer stall but also for the guy on the right, he just look’s brilliant.
