Project 52: Week 42; Artistic – Minimalist

So this weeks subject is minimalism and I’ve chosen an image taken of a friend of mine playing on his computer in a darkened room. I feel the darkness helps to isolate hi as the main focus of the image as the only full light source is the computer screen he’s staring at, this was very much helped by using a low ISO film Fuji C200 with my Canon AE-1 Programme.

Cardiff Bay Sunset (In Front And Behind The Camera)

A number of images taken on the same evening as this , this & this, some behind the camera and some in front. My friend Rich and I went down the Cardiff Bay Barrage to make some images of the sunset, annoyingly it was rather cloudy so most of the sky was dark at sunset itself, however it did allow the sun to poke out from below as it set and lit up the horizon. All images here were made on my Olympus Trip using Agfa Vista 200 film.

Street Photography – Olympus OM-D EM-5; 60

Haven’t shared any street photography for a while, and to be honest I do have an absolute ton of it stored up on my hard drive. With that welcome to edition 60 of my street photography series taken on my Olympus OM-D EM-5, again all the images this time around are taken on my Italian trip back in the Summer, that was a while ago now, around Venezia and Firenze and taken with either my 25mm Panasonic Leica Summilux of M.Zuiko 17mm lenses. Enjoy and let me know your thoughts.
