Project 52: Week 48; Artistic – Bokeh
Another week and another entry into my 52 week photography project, this time around the subject is Bokeh, something I would be surprised to hear any photographer say they don’t enjoy. Bokeh is the pleasing blurred out of focus area of a photograph beyond the subject you’re capturing, it’s easiest t capture with a wide aperture hence why the below shot is taken at the widest setting available on the lens.

Motor Racing On Film : Part One
I went to watch the final weekend of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) at the start of October in Brands Hatch, was a Birthday present from earlier in the year. I’m not the biggest touring car fan although I am a big Motorsport fan so getting to see loud engines and squealing tyres is a plus no matter what it looks like. These are all shot with my Canon AE-1 Program on PoundLand special Agfa Vista 200 film, there’ll be a few parts to this so stay tuned for more images .

Self
Not strictly a self portrait as it wasn’t taken by me, but it is on one of my camera’s. How does photography make you feel? It makes me feel like this, bloody fantastic!

Night Out
A selection of images taken on a night out with some friends a few weeks back, using my Olympus Trip (as it fits just about into the inside pocket of a coat) and Lomography 400 Colour film. I’ve never used Lomo’s film before and will reserve judgement as, one this is the first roll and two it wasn’t exactly a daylight situation. Some of the images have come out quite well despite the lack of light available.
