Probably not the normal sort of image I post on here but this is a shot I just happened to take when I was shooting some landscape image’s, the RNLI (that’s Royal National Lifeboat Institution for anyone not from the UK) where out in the sea on what I assume was a training exercise. When they’d finished they came ashore and walked up the beach and the lifeboat launch, I don’t know if anyone else see’s it but I thought they looked a little like astronauts on their way to the launchpad.

Boats Agfa Vista Plus f11 500th

Taken on my Nikon FM with 28mm lens on Agfa Vista plus 200 film. f11 1/500th sec. The dried out harbour in St Ives, Cornwall, the half buried chain in the sand leading us off to the brightly coloured boats in the distance, the father and child , hundreds of footprints. This was a good day. (more…)
