I grew up in this town and spent an awful lot of time near this location. The castle is one of those things that you take for granted as just something that’s normal when you’re a child, especially growing up in Wales where there are literally tons of them all over the place. The castle is right in the centre of the town, the lake/moat surrounding it takes up a huge amount of space, as does the surrounding park, and it’s a location you just tend to walk through on your way to go shopping or to get from one side of the town to see your friends on the other.
