Bought my girlfriend a Fuji Instax 200 for Valentine’s Day as she’s always wanted a Polaroid or similar camera. This being me and having, I wouldn’t say a dislike of but more, a trepidation with regards to Impossible Project film (price-wise for example) and being a slight obsessive of Fujifilm is the reason I got her an Instax. From the look’s of these when she first used it I’d say she was pleased.
All Images taken on my Olympus OM-1, 50mm F.Zuiko lens and on Fomapan Classic 100.

I have to admit I was quite impressed by the quality of Instax Wide, the colour’s have a nice old school look to them when it develops. In fact I was impressed to the point where I am considering getting hold of one myself for a project, what do you think? Should I?
would be interesting to see the results 🙂

How cool I did not know they still had these kind of cameras – of course they do! And side note is I just went through some photo albums and my instant Polaroid pics from the 90s have the worse chemical smell ever – weird- so I am going to take pics of them and toss them.
Anyhow – your gf has a beautiful smile – and LOVE her jacket!

Oh dear, I know instant film degrades over time once the picture is developed but didn’t know it gave off a chemical smell…suppose it make’s sense though. Thank Yoiu.

well i did not expect it either – and maybe it was the place we stored it (it gets hot in there) and it is almost 20 years old – so maybe the storage conditions made the smell. It is horrible.
